Mission #2: Reforest the Lungs of the World

In my efforts to plant these vast amount of trees, I aspire to motivate your own tree planting at home or in your community.

The last remaining rainforests could be consumed in less than 40 years and certainly by the end of the century at the current rate of deforestation. The Amazon Rainforest alone creates 20% of Earth's oxygen and holds 1/5 of Earth's freshwater.

Through supporting organizations that are dedicated to stopping deforestation and by learning how trees benefit the planet, your pocket, your community and your physical and mental health and where and how to plant them, you could be making a real difference in your own life, your community and beyond!

Rainforests aren't the only places where trees matter! Whether in the Amazon, at home, in your community or anywhere in the world, planting trees provides an incredible abundance of benefits. Trees are important, valuable and necessary for our very existence. Our remaining forests and the trees we plant act as ground troops on the environmental front line working in tandem to make a better world.

In my four missions, I seek to inspire a world where no one person is too small to make a difference and where every single person matters; to empower people with over a million reasons to join hands and feel unafraid in embarking on our collective, generational mission to stand up for a cause, whether it's ecological or not, and to draw attention to Everything Connects where a vast ecologically rooted, universally important base of knowledge awaits with near-endless possibilities towards a safer, healthier and sustainable future.
